Vehicle Description 1935 Ford Woody Flat Head V8 originally from Hyannis /Nantucket MA area and always garaged and only 2 long term owners before being acquired by us.
Original long term family owned in Hyannis MA ,as we have heard from people say they remember seeing it driving around Hyannis MA for years , and years.
Then the 2nd owner restored and owned it for approx 35 years.
All original wood with Beautiful patina and all original metal , restored.
Has a 12 volt system, hydraulic brakes, directional lights, a LeBaron bonney interior.
Outside roof redone to have a factory look.
The original inside wood headliner roof redone.
The rebuilt engine has dual carbs, vintage edelbrock heads, a bee hive oil filter, headers with dual exhaust.
The car also has dual horns.
The side and rear curtains are in good shape and clear.
Spare tire on the rear.
The undercarriage is in very nice solid shape as shown.
The car has Lincoln Zephyr gears which makes this car purr down the highway at great cruising speeds.
All work was done by the 2nd owner about 20 years ago and still looks fresh.
Previous owner would not hesitate to hop in it and drive it anywhere.
After restoring this car it was well sorted out and built to drive and that is what he and his wife (who were then both 70
years old) did.
During their ownership they put 18,000 miles on it touring and enjoying their summers driving in Nantucket and the islands, back roads in New England and sightseeing in eastern Canada.
Previous owner passed away about 4 years ago.
